My favorite kind of ending!

Jukka the Sling

Beautiful ending.  Just how I'd have written it. :'D

Seriously, though, I just keep forgetting/procrastinating/wanting to do something else besides writing lately.  I haven't written anything at all (not just SaR) in months.  I'm pathetic.

I won't let this die, though.

Girl Mask needs to change her name (inside the story) to Maudie.

Or she could change her name outside the story back to Mask.

James Gryphon

Technically she can't; one of the admins would have to do it.

Yeah, and I still think that's stupid.

Every other forum and you can change yer own name...

You can't change your name on "every other forum". But even if you could, if every other forum jumped off a bridge... ;)

There are some forums I've seem where people's names stick around as long as a revolving door. If people want to change things, our philosophy is more to let them change their status or their signature, your name being a part of your identity. I can say from personal experience that there's little more frustrating to a member than coming back after being gone for some time and finding out that he has no clue who anybody is because they've all changed their names. Most people go their whole lives in the real world without ever changing their name. I don't think having it be a rare event online is such a bad thing.
