Dear Redwallabbey.com forum users:

Going from the concerned advice of a member, the staff feels that images in signatures both make the forum difficult to scroll (and view), and that members can adequately express themselves already with their profiles.
However, we are by no means banning such images. A limit of 100x350 pixels is requested, which means small images are by all means allowed. Userbars is a useful service which offers a vast selection of images fitting these dimensions, and are permitted for use.
The 2011 Awards Contest banners can still be used for members in their signatures for display on placing in the Redwallabbey.com contest.

P.S. This new rule will take effect in a week. So if you have a large image, then you certainly have time to come up with a new signature.
