Wow! I thought that this site, the encyclopedia, and DAB was it for redwall on line. I see that I have much to learn.

You're welcome! ^^ That was one of my hopes actually, that someone would be able to find the old websites they used to go on. :)

I think it's worth linking the Redwall Survivor guys in here, too, especially now that they've got their own official website. :D It's a long-running, very active portion of the fandom, to be sure.
Redwall is always open, its tables laden, to you and any of good heart.

The Lady Shael

That's so cool! I had heard of them long ago but didn't know they were still active.

Yeah, they've got some really interesting articles, too! I enjoy following their contests and I don't even like fanfiction. :D

Shael, I think you were given a link to the old BAF. The site is semi-active and can now be found at http://blackarchfort.webs.com/

It's a beautiful and well-done site with some fantastic writers there. Also, a shameless plug for the Vulpine Imperium:

I have spent the better part of seven years writing on the VI. It is a role playing experience unlike any that I've had, and the majority of folks who were members there, both past and present, wholeheartedly agree. Don't think you like vermin because they're simple-minded and only think of killing woodlanders? Come to the VI and see a different class of vermin. I never thought I'd like writing a vermin character, but there is such depth of writing at the VI that it's become something of an addiction!

Some have mentioned the community in the ROC, and I must say that I have a batch of supportive friends all from the ROC (the VI in particular). We've all been inspired to write or draw in some way or another through Redwall—the books that brought us to the VI where we all met and found our passion for writing.

I am so glad this website was created so that it can be seen that the ROC is still alive and kicking, though perhaps not as hard as when I first stumbled upon this amazing community. Keep up the good work, everyone! We'll do Brian proud by introducing his tales to new readers so that they can continue the adventure with us.
Like pirates? Want to be a classy vermin who wears a cravat and sails the high seas? Enjoy writing? Join the VI! http://rovl.org/vi

Added. :) It's great to see a club site still active out there. Club sites used to make up 90% of the ROC, then almost all of them died out.

Hmm. I joined the Legends of Redwall Abbey site. It's actually not too active. It get's posted on more than once a week, but not regularly.
Feel free to send me a private message or visit me at my deviantART, FictionPress, or FanFiction accounts. Message me for account links.

Anyone else from present day DAB on here? If you haven't checked it out already, it's an amazing site, you should at least give it a shot. Or if you haven't been there in a long time, come back, we'll be happy to have you back.

@Nightfire: I tried to join Legends, but this is what is said to me. Something like this:
'When you registered, you stated that you were ten years old. Only thirteens and up are allowed to join. You are welcome to come back when you are thirteen.'
OK, I'll just go away and turn thirteen! XD

It did the same thing to me when I tried to register on DAB!

I didn't know DAB was still running! I will definitely have to check it out again, though I haven't been around in years.

The last time that site was updated was in the year 2001 (the year I joined the ROC!)...so it's pretty safe to say the site is not active. ^.~ Sorry. Don't forget to check the year and date of news items or forum posts when surfing for Redwall sites...if it hasn't been posted on for the last couple months, it's not considered active.
