Edit: So, not only are they the same, the laugh emotion doesn't even show up.
Well, the reason why they're the same there is because they're the same in Old-School (which Colorful was based on). Even in the forum's default emoticon set, there's a pretty subtle difference -- something like a few extra red pixels in the mouth region. It's only in Aaron and the "Default" sets where they stand out.
That's not to say that it shouldn't be improved at some point. I guess I'm just saying it being the same's not the result of a bug.
It not showing up, however, is. I'll see if that can be fixed; if not, I'll adjust the characters it uses.
