As far as I can tell the countdown is for the release of some concept art. Those are some great questions you have, I'm wondering about the answers to them as well. Can't wait to see what cryptopur says.

cryptopur

Hmmm?
A countdown clock...well it's not for the release of concept art.
got me...  ;)

But I found this...

By following those instructions I came up with the URL that was posted that takes you to the countdown clock. At the point in the video that this was found the person talking in the video (who I believe is Chris Skaggs aka cryptopur) is talking about the community helping decide what goes into the game and Abbey Craft. I can't wait until we find out what it's counting down to. 1 day 2 hours 38 mins left. :)

I also just noticed that the name of the page the countdown is on is Terribiliter Magnificasti Me Mirabilia. I thought it looked like Latin so I translated it and it means Fearfully Magnified: Wonderful. It could have some sort of relevance, but it's more than likely that it's just Lorem Ipsum.

cryptopur

If by "Loren ipsum" you mean "meaningless Latin filler text" - then...no. It's purposeful.
But to avoid red herrings, it may not be part of the page purpose.

Good to know!

Alrighty, this topic has been stickied and shall henceforth be known as the more-or-less official Redwall game topic at the RAF. Please refrain from making multiple threads on the same topic; bring all of your excited fan squealing over here so we can do it together!
Redwall is always open, its tables laden, to you and any of good heart.

A popup saying "Bang"?  That's all the countdown was for?  xD

I noticed the same thing when viewing the webpage code. I was hoping they named the countdown clock. Sadly no such luck.

I see - something we didn't plan for:
"realize" should have been based on Pacific Standard Time at 5:00pm...
Sorry for that glitch - we're about 90 min away.

I know the answer to this is probably obvious, and it's probably been answered before, but will this be a computer download or a CD-ROM for sale? And, will it work for both Macs and PC's, or just PC's? (I currently have a Mac)

So, the boat page has been updated:

And it looks like a puzzle!  Fitting for the world of Redwall. :)

"With mice and mechs and CGDC and who should Chris meet, but Penguin man _____"  and a link saying "Start here"

If you enter "Priebe" in the box, it changes to:
OF :: 4

I have no idea what that means, but maybe part 2 tomorrow will help shed some light on it.
